Three of the five are night games, if you’re into that sort of thing

The Minnesota Golden Gophers announced the kickoff times for all three of their non-conference football games and two of their conference matchups.

P.J. Fleck will open his sophomore campaign at Minnesota with a Thursday night matchup against New Mexico State on August 30 at 6 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium.

The following week, the Gophers will face a test under the lights at the Bank when the Fresno State Bulldogs roll into Minneapolis for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Fleck and co. will close out the non-conference slate with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff against Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Sept. 15, at TCF Bank Stadium, before their bye week.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are cordially invited to Homecoming at Minnesota, when the Gophers will see them on the field at either 2:30 or 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Last, but certainly least, that unfortunate Friday night game with the Indiana Hoosiers will kickoff at 7 p.m. on Oct. 26. Thank you for that brilliant idea, Jim Delany.
