Scouting Report

At 6’3’’, Robinson will be by far the tallest defensive back on the Gophers’ roster, and he has used that frame to dominate at wide receiver at the high school level. But his future seems to be at defensive back, where he’ll more than likely end up at the safety position. Defensively, Robinson has a nose for the football and, with his size, is able to attack the ball at its highest point with his arms extended. He also takes long strides and is rarely caught from behind, whether he is running a route or running back an interception. Robinson is a lean 6’3’’, so he’ll need to hit the weight room before he can make an impact at safety at the college level.
