The Minnesota Golden Gophers won’t play on Saturday, allowing that loss to Maryland to marinate for an extra week. But the Gophers will return to action the following weekend at 2:30 p.m. for a Homecoming matchup with the Iowa Hawkeyes at TCF Bank Stadium.
#Gophers will host rival Iowa at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. The game will be broadcast on @BigTenNetwork and @KFAN1003.#SkiUMah #RTB

The Hawkeyes also have their bye week this week and they’ll be looking to rebound from a disappointing 28-17 loss to Wisconsin under the lights at Kinnick Stadium. Minnesota has dropped three straight to Iowa in the battle for the Floyd of Rosedale, with all three losses decided by a touchdown or less. I’d expect another rock fight next Saturday.
