The college football coaching carousel is in full swing and it appears head coach P.J. Fleck and the Minnesota Golden Gophers will not be immune this offseason, if reports are to be believed.

Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Kirk Ciarrocca is expected to leave for the same positions at West Virginia, under new head coach Neal Brown. Ciarrocca has been with Fleck since he was first hired at Western Michigan in 2013.

Ciarrocca and Brown are reportedly close friends after coaching together for one season at the University of Delaware, where Ciarrocca served as quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator while Brown coached wide receivers.

Defensive line coach Marcus West is also expected to depart for Charlotte, where he'll serve as co-defensive coordinator, assistant head coach, and defensive line coach. He will have spent one season at Minnesota.

West would be reuniting with Will Healy, who was hired as Charlotte’s head coach in December. Healy was previously head coach at Austin Peay, where West spent the previous two seasons as co-defensive coordinator, assistant head coach, and defensive line coach.

We will keep you posted if and when these reports are confirmed.
