The Minnesota Golden Gophers continue their skyrocket trip towards the top of the SB Nation Fan Pulse Rankings this week. A huge win over Penn State puts the Gophers up to #7 in the national SB Nation Fan Pulse Rankings matching the coaches poll and the AP Poll. But you Gophers fan...you have Minnesota sitting at #5 this week!

How Baylor is still ranked ahead of Minnesota after last weekend is a joke. Hopefully Oklahoma takes them to the woodshed to end that and Minnesota takes care of Iowa...but then watch Oklahoma jump us. Whatever.
Minnesota was bounced around quite a bit in the national rankings. Three schools ranked the Gophers #4—thanks Iowa State, Ohio State and TCU. But on the opposite end of the spectrum Rutgers has Minnesota #9, and North Carolina has Minnesota #11? What??
The question of the week asked who is your Heisman Favorite? The question was obviously invalid with no Tanner Morgan option, but to no surprise Joe Burrow seems to be running away with the title.
Joe Burrow - 82.2
Jalen Hurts - 7.1%
Justin Fields - 6.4%
Trevor Lawrence - 2.6%
Tua Tagovailoa - 1.7%
But What About How We Feel About the Gophers?
I mean...do I even need to put 100% down or can it just be obvious at this point...
But What about Gopher Basketball?
Ahh....this one is a bit different. With this question being asked now it’s interesting to see how things change. Minnesota sat at 82% last week after a 1-0 start, but after a loss to Oklahoma a lot of people jumped off the bandwagon. This week it’s just a 53.5% approval of the direction of the program. Good luck Richard.
