Minnesota Football: Gophers set for 2:30 p.m. kickoff against Wisconsin

Minnesota and Wisconsin will meet with more than bragging rights at stake

The Minnesota Golden Gophers will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium in their regular season finale against the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, Nov. 30. The winner will take home Paul Bunyan’s Axe and punch their ticket to the Big Ten Championship.

The game will be televised on ABC.

A victory for the Gophers would mean their first back-to-back wins over the Badgers since 1993-94, and would clinch their first division title in program history. But Wisconsin will be eager to re-claim the Axe after last season’s loss and notch their program’s sixth division crown. The Badgers trail the Gophers by a single game in the Big Ten West standings with an 8-2 overall record and a 5-2 conference record, with losses to Illinois and Ohio State.
