Scouting Report
Fleck has coveted versatility and athleticism at the linebacker position since he took the helm at Minnesota, and Burns certainly fits that mold. He is an above average athlete who can play from sideline-to-sideline and even drop back into coverage. Burns has been effective in blitz packages and can be a disruptive force in the backfield. Look no further than how the Gophers’ utilized redshirt freshman linebacker Braelen Oliver in the latter half of this season.
