Scouting Report

Speed is what makes Saad so dangerous. He is quick off the ball and frequently in the offensive backfield. Saad is very polished in terms of technique, both in terms of his feet and hands. But for an interior defensive lineman, he is undersized. If Saad can add strength in the weight and maintain his athleticism, that would afford Fleck and defensive coordinator Joe Rossi some flexibility in how they can utilize him. One interesting note: Saad is 16 years old, so he is a full year behind the rest of his classmates in terms of his physical development.
