After earning a ranking up to #5 the Spartans have dropped three in row. They are probably thinking that it’s a good thing they have Minnesota coming to East Lansing. The Gophers have also experienced their longest losing streak of the season, two games. They need to get things back on track, can they get it done against the Spartans?

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Offensive Rebounding - Spartans three-game losing streak has one common theme, their opponent kicked ass on the offensive glass. Purdue had an offensive rebound % of 40%, Indiana was 43.5% and Illinois was 35.3%. I’d like to see that trend continue today.

Make Threes - Not exactly our strength, but once in a while we shoot well and when we do, we can beat anybody.

PREDICTION

Michigan State is tough and I’m not optimistic.
