NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-First Round-Virginia vs Gardner-Webb Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

We get to the second weekend which often has the best games of the tournament. But I’m really excited about every one of these games. Time to get the pizza, wings and beer ready for a full slate of games Thursday and Friday night.

Man are there some great games on Thursday and Friday.

Games to Watch

  • THURSDAY
    1-Gonzaga vs. 4-Florida State

This is the game of the night on Thursday in my opinion. The length of Florida State is going to present some challenges for Gonzaga. But can the Seminoles score enough?

  • FRIDAY
    3-Houston vs. 2-Kentucky

I’m rather excited for this one as well. This could be a program changing win for the Cougars.

Upset Alert

  • THURSDAY
    3-Purdue vs. 2-Tennessee

At this point these games aren’t exactly “upsets,” but Purdue is a lower seed and I think they beat the Volunteers tonight.

  • FRIDAY
    1-North Carolina vs. 5-Auburn

If Auburn is shooting well, the Tar Heels better watch out. This game should be a lot of fun.
