Scouting Report

Mitchell projects as a middle linebacker at the next level. He possesses good football instincts, with the physicality necessary to play downhill in the box and get through traffic to find the ball carrier. Mitchell is athletic enough to play from sideline to sideline and has acquitted himself well in pass coverage. With Thomas Barber, Kamal Martin, and Carter Coughlin all set to graduate after next season, he can help shepherd an up-and-coming group of young linebackers that will include Thomas Rush, Mariano Sori-Marin, and Braelen Oliver.
