Eli Wilson and Max Meyer earn All Big Ten Baseball honors

The Big Ten regular season has wrapped up and two Gophers were named to the All Conference team.

Eli Wilson is a junior on this year’s squad and earned himself a first team distinction as the Big Ten’s best catcher. He hit .295 this year with 2 home runs. This was Wilson’s first All Big Ten selection in his career.

Max Meyer was named to the first team last year after dominating the Big Ten as a closer. This Meyer moved to a starter and often was the team’s DH. Lead the team with 80 Ks and went 3-1 in Big Ten play.

Congrats to these guys and lets see them lead the team to a few Big Ten Tournament wins early in the tourney.
