Scouting Report
Larkins is another athlete who has played two positions at the high school level, as both a defensive end and a tight end. Considering his size and athleticism, I can’t blame any coach for wanting to utilize him on both sides of the ball. Larkins is explosive off the line of scrimmage and possesses an impressive wingspan that has allowed him to disrupt passing lanes on occasion. It will be interesting to see how and where head coach P.J. Fleck and defensive line coach Jim Panagos decide to use him, because he has experience as both a three-technique and five-technique defensive lineman. As we all know, this coaching staff covets versatility.
