Scouting Report

Onwuzo is a physical cornerback who can make life difficult for opposing wide receivers, especially at the line of scrimmage. Although he is expected to play cornerback at the college level, that physicality opens the door for him to be utilized around the defensive backfield. It would not be outside the realm of possibilities to see Onwuzo shift to safety, where he could line up in the box and help in run support. There is a lot to like about his skillset, and I am sure cornerbacks coach Rod Chance is looking forward to the opportunity to develop those skills.
