Obviously unless you have been under a rock you know that sophomore QB Zack Annexstad injured his foot last week and is out indefinitely. Tanner Morgan is your starting QB for the foreseeable future. But it was looking like a good competition, yet a friendly one according to the St Paul Pioneer Press’s Andy Greder.

Saturday Tradition’s Dustin Schutti gives his opinion on Tanner Morgan becoming the man at QB for the Gophers.

Morgan will be throwing a lot this fall to senior wide out Tyler Johnson. Megan Ryan of the Star Tribune had a great feature on Johnson in Sunday’s paper looking into his relationship with his home city of Minneapolis.

Sports Illustrated has a list of the top sleepers in college football’s most wide open divisions. Hey...we know that team from the Big Ten West!!

Australia native Daniel Faalele’s success over here has apparently reached back home. He gets his own profile in the Melbourne Daily Telegraph!

There are 24 days left until the Gophers and others begin the college football season and BTN is honoring that with a video package featuring some of the 24 career TD’s of Gopher stud WR Eric Decker:

BTN will be on campus for their fall camp preview show Friday August 16th that coincides with one of the Gophers open to the public practices.

For all the Gopher fans complaining about the weird uniforms PJ Fleck and co have worn in recent seasons.....all of them combined will never live up to this monstrosity that Michigan State will wear at least once this season.
