After a blip Week 3 where many people didn’t get the ballot to complete due to some tech issues, we are back on schedule with a Monday release of the SB Nation Fan Pulse Top 25 for Week 4. More of the same for the very top, but some definatete movement down from some of the mid-higher teams. Looking at you Michigan.

Here is how you the TDG readers ranked the Top 25. Previous weeks rankings in parentheses:

  1. Clemson (1)
  2. Alabama (2)
  3. Georgia (3)
  4. Ohio State (5)
  5. LSU (4)
  6. Oklahoma (6)
  7. Auburn (8)
  8. Wisconsin (16)
  9. Florida (9)
  10. Notre Dame (7)
  11. Texas (13)
  12. Penn State (12)
  13. Oregon (14)
  14. Iowa (20)
  15. Utah (12)
  16. Michigan State (18)
  17. Texas A&M (15)
  18. Boise State (25)
  19. Michigan (10)
  20. Washington (19)
  21. USC (NR)
  22. UCF (17)
  23. Washington State (21)
  24. Virginia (NR)
  25. Cal (NR)

The big riser off of the last two weeks of course is Wisconsin. Obviously the Gopher bias not really in full effect here. Iowa up to #14 as well. Gophers fans really not doing a good job of hating rivals. Boise State pops up to #18 after a good start, and USC jumps in as well.

As for the droppers—oh hai there Michigan. That was really it for big drops. I’m kind of surprised you left Washinston State in the top 25 after blowing a massive lead to UCLA, but you do you.

Here is how the national poll shook out:

There was also a poll question on who you fans thought was the most overrated team in the Top 25 after the first four weeks. To no surprise the vast majority of the voters picked the Wolverines:

Michigan - 60.24%

Florida - 14.98%

UCF - 9.38%

Notre Dame - 6.71%

Utah - 4.09%

Texas - 3.25%

Ohio State - 1.36%

But What About How We Feel About the Gophers?

I’m glad you asked. Things continue to trend upward. We have gone from 81.8 percent positive after Week 1 to an astounding 96.4% approval after week 4. Guess seeing some of the other struggles of teams around the country has reinforced how nice it is to be 3-0. Big game this weekend which will definitely shape this opinion next week.
