In addition to quarterback Tanner Morgan being named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, punter Jacob Herbers has been named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.

The redshirt senior booted a total of four punts against the Boilermakers on Saturday for an average of 41.2 yards per punt. Herbers evem dropped two of those punts inside the 5-yard line, pinning Purdue at their own 1- and 2-yard lines.

Morgan and Herbers are the third and fourth Golden Gophers this season to be recognized as a Player of the Week by the Big Ten, following Antoine Winfield Jr. in Week 2 (Defensive Player of the Week) and Tyler Johnson in Week 3 (Co-Offensive Player of the Week).
