Minnesota Football: Gophers set for 6:30 p.m. kickoff against Nebraska

The Battle for the Broken Chair will be a night game

The Minnesota Golden Gophers announced this morning that their game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, Oct. 12, will be a primetime matchup. The Battle for the Broken Chair will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT at TCF Bank Stadium.

The game will air on either Fox Sports 1 or the Big Ten Network.

The Gophers will look to avenge last year’s 53-28 loss to the Huskers in Scott Frost’s first season at the helm. Nebraska has stumbled to a 3-2 record so far this season, despite lofty preseason expectations that may have been a bit premature. They face Northwestern at home this Saturday, while Minnesota hosts Illinois for Homecoming.
