After a weird week with lots of games on traditional days, the SB Nation Fan Pulse Top 25 is now out for Week 1. After a week that saw most of the top teams win, there wasn’t a ton of movement. No shock there. But the Minnesota Golden Gophers did drop out of even our TDG rankings. Minnesota was 25th in our preseason poll, but after their squeaker of a 28-21 win over South Dakota State Minnesota fell out of the Top 25.

Here is how you the TDG writers ranked the Top 25:

The top five remain static with LSU making the jump from #11 to #6. Auburn is the biggest climber this week going from, #17 to #8 after their big win over Oregon. Michigan State and Wisconsin were the biggest rising Big Ten temas moving up five and three points respectively.

As for the droppers, Notre Dame moved down three spots after looking just ok vs Louisville. Flordia drops four spots after nearly losing to Miami, Oregon drops five after losing to Auburn, Iowa drops a pair just because. Four teams including Northwestern and Minnesota slide out this week while Syracuse makes the biggest jump up to #21 from being unranked.
