Continuing with our week of Michigan schools, the Gophers are hosting the Wolverines. A bounce back is needed today. Can the shooting heat up and the Gophers get a win over a highly ranked (according to NET and KenPom) team?

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

REBOUND - We stunk against Michigan State (which isn’t surprising) but have to be better at rebounding against the Wolverines.

Avoid Foul Trouble - Especially Daniel Oturu. If he has to sit for extended periods while Jon Teske stays on the floor, we are in major trouble.

Find Gabe’s Stroke - When good Gabe Kalscheur shows up, this team is really good offensively. The offensive efficiency goes way up and this team is hard to beat. But games when he shoots 1 for 6 or worse, we seem to struggle.

PREDICTION

I’m strangely confident that the Gophers have a bounce back game and beat Michigan. I think we shoot well and there’s a good crowd on hand to boost this squad.
