Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Minnesota Golden Gophers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

One thing is clear. So long as the Gophers are winning (or at least, aren’t losing too badly) about 70-80% of the Minnesota fans are happy right now. Post Purdue failing to tie or win on the road despite having the timeouts, field position, and offensive weapons to do so, here’s how y’all feel about the maroon and gold on the football field.

Given the team’s inability to lose to Wisconsin this weekend, any drop next week should be muted.

As for shootyhoops, Gophers fans are starting the year feeling pretty good, with 71% of fans who voted seeing the team as on the right track to start the season.

Voters in this week’s survey were also asked 3 wider questions:

1) How well do you think the CFB season was handled this year?

The SEC and Nebraska fans who voted “A” remain very silly.

2) Should there be bowl games outside the NY6?

If you’re the Big Ten fan, you should start adjusting your expectations. We’re not up to 3 B1G bowls canceled already.

3) Are you excited for the college basketball season?

I voted no, mostly because I think the basketball season will be even more of a COVID train wreck.
