The Gophers step up their non-conference schedule today with Boston College coming to the Barn. What will it take to get a win over a P5 program? Let’s find out.

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Get to the line - This is a team that as they begin to find some offensive continuity will find that they typically will do well when they get themselves to the line often. Much like the 2018-19 squad.

Box Out - The Eagles rank very low in terms of offensive rebounding and it should be important to keep it that way tonight. This is not a great offensive team, but limit them to 1 shot all night and we should be able to find a way to score more than them.

Shoot well from 3- I swore I wasn’t going to use this as a key anymore this year. We typically are just not a good shooting team from behind the arc. But BC has really struggled defending the three this year. Their three losses has seen teams shoot over 45% in each game and their lone win was a game in which the opponent “only” shot 44%.

PREDICTION

This is not a great BC team, but it is not like the Gophers have proven themselves to be a great team either. I think we will find this team to be one that gets it done on the defensive end and is good enough offensively.
