(TDG) Simulation NCAA Tournament Elite Eight

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-South Regional Practice Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

The TDG simulation NCAA Tournament rolls on with the Elite Eight. As my colleague notes, the Gophers continued their improbable (some would call it homer) run to the Elite Eight where they face Michigan State for the fourth time this season. The rest of the Elite Eight is below.

The Big Ten continued to do well on the left side of the bracket. Three of the eight teams remaining hail from the toughest conference in the land. Michigan will take on Kansas to decide the Midwest regional final.

In the West, Florida State defeated a stout Iowa team while Gonzaga won the battle of the Northwest against Oregon. The two teams present an interesting tournament match-up of offense vs defense. Gonzaga has the most efficient offense in the conference, while Florida State is a top 10 defense.

In the South Baylor beat Ohio State and Duke defeated San Diego State, setting up a battle between two teams that regularly cheat at recruiting.
