Sophomore point guard Marcus Carr announced today via his Instagram that he will officially declare for the NBA Draft and test the waters. However, he will not be hiring an agent, leaving him the option to return to school if he doesn’t like what he hears once being evaluated.
It’s an exciting opportunity for an exciting player. The departures of both Oturu and Carr would be significant for next year’s Gopher team, but you can’t fault anyone for trying to get paid.
