Minnesota Basketball: SB Nation Fan Pulse Approval Bottoms Out

This week you the TDG readers once again voted in the SB Nation Fan Pulse voting about your confidence in the direction of the Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball program. We thought last week was bad, but that voting was taken prior to the losses to Maryland and Wisconsin. I’m guessing the number probably didn’t go up much.

Ooof. From a high of 84% confidence six weeks ago the Gophers have dropped precipitously down to the mid 60’s to 22% a week ago all the way down to 6% approval rate this week. Six bleeping percent.

The Gophers are locked into the #12 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will finish off the regular season at home Sunday against Nebraska in what appears to be very likely a preview for the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday in Indy.

The Big Ten fans still think Maryland is the team to beat in the conference. The Terps lost to Michigan State and Rutgers this week, but the fans of the Big Ten still have Maryland as the best team in the Big Ten.
