This has been a rough year for Gopher fans but it has been a dreadful one for Nebraska. They have lost 15 straight games dating back to January 7th. And with Northwestern’s upset over Penn State on Saturday, the Cornhuskers have to beat the Gophers to not hold on to last place all by themselves. Fred Hoiberg’s first season at Nebraska has been ugly and the day before their final game it got a little worse. The team’s 2nd and 3rd leading scorers have been suspended for today’s game at Williams Arena.

But today is senior day and the Gophers need to get another win.

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Have Fun - Sure they’ve fallen short of making the NCAA Tournament, but this is still a fun game. Last home game of the regular season and this team is capable of playing loose and playing well.

Just Execute - Nebraska was pretty bad and now without two of their best players, the Gophers need to execute and play their game. Shooting better than they usually do really helps too, but just execute.

PREDICTION

Against bad defenses the Gophers shoot really well. Their offense will be efficient, they will make threes and will dominate.
