Minnesota Football Recruiting: Four-star CB Avante Dickerson commits to the Gophers

Great news for Minnesota and some not so good news for Nebraska

Gopher Sports

Well, I would say head coach P.J. Fleck and co. are on a roll, earning their second verbal commitment of the day with cornerback Avante Dickerson grabbing an oar. He is the second four-star cornerback to commit to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the last week, and represents a significant recruiting coup for Fleck considering Dickerson is in Nebraska head coach Scott Frost’s backyard and is highly coveted by the Huskers coaching staff.

If he signs with Minnesota in December, Dickerson would be the second-highest recruit to sign with the Gophers in the internet recruiting era, behind only Jeff Jones.
