With the 175th pick in the 5th round, the Green Bay Packers selected former Minnesota Golden Gophers linebacker Kamal Martin in the NFL Draft. Martin becomes the third former Gopher selected in the NFL draft after Antoine Winfield Jr and Tyler Johnson.

How Does He Fit
The Packers have holes in their linebacker corps after letting two starters go in free agency. Kamal will fight for a special teams spot for sure and could find his way into annoying many Minnesota fans for a long time.
