With the 247th pick in the 7th round, the New York Giants selected former Minnesota Golden Gophers cornerback Chris Williamson in the NFL Draft. Williamson now joins teammate Carter Coughlin as seventh round selections of the Giants. He is the Gophers 5th draft pick in the 2020 NFL Draft setting a new 7-round draft record. It’s the most overall since 1988 when the draft has 12 rounds.
