Minnesota Basketball: Payton Willis to transfer

Payton Willis has been in Dinkeytown for 2 years, playing only for one. But the junior guard who started 25 games this past season is going to enter the tranfer portal.

Willis played his first two seasons at Vanderbilt before transferring to Minnesota prior to the 2018-19 season. He and Marcus Carr sat out that season and both were regular starters this past year. Willis averaged 8.9 points per game.

He is not transferring and will be looking for a new school for his 5th and final year.
