SBN Reacts: How much CFB will you watch, plus are the Gophers on the right track?

Will absence make the heart grow fonder?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Minnesota Golden Gophers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

For most of the country, the college football season has arrived. This weekend marks the first week of games, which, boo those people and their games. (I’m a petty, petty man).

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, the weirdness of this season doesn’t seem to matter. Over two-thirds of college football fans said they would watch at least the same amount of football this year compared to previous years, if not more. I will not be one of them.

While the media and their sources confuse everyone about what the Big Ten is planning to do, the fans of other conferences have moved on. A late fall start to the Big Ten makes a muddle of the bowl game selection process. But well over half of fans said they don’t want the bowl schedule changed to fit one conference’s schedule.

Some people seem to care about BYU-Navy. I do not.

Regardless of what the Big Ten decides to do, Minnesota fans are still happy with the program. Which, why they be coming off an 11 win season? I’m more concerned about what’s wrong with the 6% of fans who said no. They seem to have undiagnosed traumatic brain injuries.
