The injury bug is back...

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Week 8 for the former Gophers in the NFL was not great as a pair of Gophers joined Maxx Williams on injured reserve. De’Vondre Campbel continues to shine as does Damien Wilson. Here is how all the former Minnesota Gophers did in the NFL in Week 7 and a look ahead to Week 8.

Maxx Williams— Tight End— Arizona Cardinals

Season Over—Injured Reserve

Chris Streveler—Quarterback—Arizona Cardinals

Week 8 vs Green Bay Packers (TNF)

Week 9 @ San Francisco 49ers

Streveler was inactive as the third QB for Arizona last weekend and did not dress for the game.

Eric Murray-Safety Houston Texans

Week 8 vs Los Angeles Rams

Week 9 @ Miami Dolphins

For the second week in a row Murray played limited defensive snaps and special teams. He had 12 defensive snaps and 24 special teams snaps recording a solo tackle and an assisted tackle in the loss to the Rams

Damien Wilson—Linebacker—Jacksonville Jaguars

Week 8 @ Seattle Seahawks

Week 9 vs Buffalo Bills

Wilson had a good week playing 53 defensive snaps and five special teams snaps in the Jags loss at Seattle. He recorded four solo and four assisted tackles in the loss.

De’Vondre Campbell—Linebacker—Green Bay Packers

Another good week for De’Vondre. Campbell played all 59 defensive snaps and recorded four solo tackles and three assisted tackles. Of his seven tackles two went for loss including one sack of Kyler Murray.

Blake Cashman—Linebacker—New York Jets

Week 8 on IR

Week 9 on IR

Cashman was injured in Week 7 against New England and was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury AGAIN. It’s his second trip to IR this season after a pair last year as well. He just can’t seem to stay healthy.

Antoine Winfield Jr. —Safety—Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 8 @ New Orleans Saints

Week 9 Bye

Winfield played all but one snap on defense for Tampa in their win over the Saints. In 75 snaps he recorded two solo tackles, two assisted tackles, a qb hit and a pass defense in the win.

Tyler Johnson-WR-Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 8 @ New Orleans Saints

Week 9 Bye

Johnson had his best game of the season Sunday against the Saints. He played 39 offensive snaps and was targeted six times by Tom Brady. He caught five of those passes for a season high 65 yards. With Scottie Miller activated off of IR this week, it will be interesting to watch Johnson’s usage after the bye.

Carter Coughlin-LB-New York Giants

Week 8 @ Kansas City Chiefs (MNF)

Week 9 IR

Coughlin was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury before the Giants Monday night game against Kansas City. He will be eligible to come back to action in Week 11.

Benjamin St. Juste—CB—Washington Football Team

Week 8 @ Denver Broncos

Week 9 Bye
