NCAA Tournament: Day 3 of NCAA Tournament, the second round begins

We do not get to watch the Gophers in this year’s NCAA Tournament, but that does not negate the fact (FACT) that these next four days are the best four days of the year for sports fans.

Day 1 is full of some great games. Here are my picks for what to watch and who is going to win.

Best Games of the Day

• 6-Texas Tech Red Raiders vs 3-Arkansas Razorbacks - This game promises to be close and a game played with a bunch of toughness on both sides.
• 12-Oregon State Beavers vs 4-Oklahoma State Cowboys - The Beavers are hot and haven’t slowed down after rolling through the Pac12 Tournament.

Upset Alert

• 13-North Texas Mean Green vs 5-Villanova Wildcats - not one more for the Mean Green as they face a depleted Nova squad?

Player I’m Excited to Watch

• Cade Cunningham - more of this guy please.
• Javion Hamlet (North Texas) - his 24 points and 12 boards certainly helped his team take down Purdue. Can he have another elite performance?
