It is official. The Baltimore Ravens did what many mock drafts predicted and have taken former Gopher Rashod Bateman with the 27th pick in the 1st round.

Career Yardage: 2,395

Rashod Bateman becomes the first Gopher since Laurence Maroney in 2006 to be taken in the 1st round. He is the first ever Gopher wide out to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft!
Bateman will certainly benefit from having a quarterback like Lamar Jackson drawing defensive attention while he works in the secondary. This is an elite landing spot for Bateman and we wish him all the best on Sundays this coming fall.
