Two weeks into the NFL season and a few memorable performances already. Of course a few injuries as well. Below is a recap of how the former Minnesota Gophers did in the NFL this week and a look ahead to this upcoming weekend’s games.

Maxx Williams— Tight End— Arizona Cardinals

Week 2 vs Minnesota Vikings

Week 3 @Jacksonville Jaguars

The Vikings lose and Maxx Williams has a career best game against them. Makes sense..right? Maxx showed up against his hometown team and had the best game of his career. He played 74% of the offensive snaps, but he made the most of his 45 plays. Maxx caught seven passed for 94 yards against the Vikings helping Arizona to a 34-33 win.

Chris Streveler—Quarterback—Arizona Cardinals

Week 2 vs Minnesota Vikings

Week 3 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Streveler was inactive as the third QB for Arizona last weekend and did not dress for the game.

Eric Murray-Safety Houston Texans

Week 2 @ Cleveland Browns

Week 3 vs Caroline Panthers (TNF)

Murray played just 82% of the defensive snaps in the Texans loss to Cleveland last Sunday. In his 50 snaps he recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.

Campbell blew up on Sunday having one of his best games of his career in the NFL. He played all 57 snaps in the game and recorded ten solo tackles, three assisted tackles, had a pass defense and picked off Jared Goff in the fourth quarter of the Packers win. Not a bad night.

Blake Cashman—Linebacker—New York Jets

Week 2 vs New England Patriots

Week 3 @ Denver Broncos

Cashman missed his first of at least three games on IR with a hamstring injury. He wil lmiss this weekend’s game against Denver as well.

Winfield had a decent game in the win over Atlanta. He played all 72 defensive snaps in the game and recorded three solo and one assisted tackle along with a pass defense in the win.

Tyler Johnson-WR-Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 2 vs Atlanta Falcons

Week 3 @ Los Angeles Rams

Johnson saw more action in Week 2 as he want from three offensive snaps in Week 1 to 17 in Week 2. He also caught his first pass of the year for a five yard gain and was targeted once more but the pass went incomplete.

Carter Coughlin-LB-New York Giants

Week 2 @ Washington Football Team (THF)

Week 3 vs Atlanta Falcons

Coughlin didn’t see much defensive time once again playing just two snaps on defense and several others on special teams. He did not record a stat. .

Benjamin St. Juste—CB—Washington Football Team

Week 2 vs New York Giants

Week 3 @ Buffalo Bills

Benjamin St. Juste had a much better second game in the NFL then his debut. He played 75% of the defensive snaps, and in those 52 plays he would record three solo tackles and a pass defense.

Rashod Bateman—WR—Baltimore Ravens

Bateman remains on IR and is eligible to come back in Week 4 against the Broncos.

Ryan Santoso —Kicker Free Agent

The Santos sage continues as after he was released by Carolina he was signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad, but only spent a few days there before he was released once again Sunday. Santos is back on the open market and hopefully can find a spot soon.
