The Big Ten announced all-conference selections for defense on Tuesday, and Minnesota safety Tyler Nubin was voted first-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media.

Four different Gophers were named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, including defensive end Jah Joyner, rush end Danny Striggow, defensive tackle Kyler Baugh, and cornerback Justin Walley.

Nubin recorded 53 tackles this season to go along with four pass break-ups and five interceptions. His 13 career interceptions are the most in program history.
