Minnesota Golden Gophers kicker Dragan Kesich has been named the Big Ten’s Bakken-Andersen Kicker of the Year, in addition to being a unanimous First-Team All-Big Ten Special Teams selection.

The media selected punter Mark Crawford for All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.

Kesich led Minnesota in scoring this season with 90 points. He was 22-of-26 on field goal attempts and 24-of-24 on point-after attempts. He ranked eighth in the nation in field goals made (22), sixth in field goals attempted (26) and tied for 24th in field goal percentage (84.6%). Kesich’s season was highlighted by a game-winning 47-yard field goal as time expired against Nebraska and a 12-10 upset of the Iowa Hawkeyes in which he was responsible for all 12 of the Gophers’ points.
