Central Michigan defensive tackle Quindario Lee announced Wednesday that he will be transferring to Minnesota. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Lee recorded 28 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, five quarterback hurries, and one fumble recovery this season with the Chippewas. The Gophers utilized a three-man rotation at defensive tackle this year and one-third of that rotation — starter Kyler Baugh — is graduating. Expect Lee to come in and compete for time in next season’s rotation with Deven Eastern and Logan Richter.
