Scouting Report
Ijeboi is the type of running back who can turn any carry into a track meet. He reportedly ran a 4.51 40-yard dash last month at the Under Armour camp in Baltimore, but you can also see his speed in his highlight reel, demonstrated in any of his three 90+ yard touchdown runs. At 6’0” — assuming he is a legit 6’0” — Ijeboi is taller than the running backs the Gophers have recently recruited, but his size does nothing to prevent him from slicing through defenses. He is also a decisive runner who doesn’t do a lot of dancing before he hits the hole, though he is elusive in the open field. This is an intriguing addition for Minnesota running backs coach Nic McKissic-Luke.
