Eater.com recently put together a list of places to watch college and NFL football in 25 different cities. The idea was to let expat fans know where their favorite team's fans congregate to watch games:
Football season is here, but for fans who don't live in their team's city, it can be tough to find a place to watch the big games. Eater's city sites have rounded up 25 team bars in each city where college and NFL football games will play all season long.
I ran through the list to see what Gopher bars were a part of it. As you might expect, it wasn't extensive, with only 2 bars in Chicago and 1 in Denver showing up as the home of transplanted Gopher fans. But I wanted to share those as a public service to our IL and CO friends and to give any other expats a chance to share their favorite Gopher watching spot in whatever city they currently call home.
